What Does West Do as a Company?
West as an established company with handy works and impact in the USA and other parts of the world and now Liberia is just more than a construction company.
It goes beyond its scope of operations by providing Economic Empowerment, Job Opportunities, Education Empowerment for on the job trainees and employees as well as raising the living standards of its hired staffs while at the same time protecting and preserving the Environment (Wetland Preservation and Ecosystem).
It strongly encourages females in all divisions or departments of the company especially engineering and general construction and provides immediate employment to females in the Engineering Departments from any reputable institutions in Liberia some of whom are currently in the employ of the company and now serve as testimonies to the fact and reality.
Preserving the environment and ecosystem of the society and or community in which she works with wetlands being a core of it and others.
Winning contracts based on a competitive biding processes have been as a result of trust, confidence, competence and quality of works and timely finishing of projects as per contractual agreements with clients globally.
It trains people on the job as a means of empowering potential future engineers and construction workforce for Liberia.
Interestingly, West plans to have at least 90% percent ownership as a long-term goal which will later be translated to a full flesh 100% Liberian Ownership after training.
This is being backed by the bringing into Liberia experts from the USA and others to train Liberian employees of West with a hope to serve and hold top administrative positions as a gradual rollout process.
One important and interesting secret of the company is its strong stance on community empowerment with acquired projects. That is to say that the company buys locally produced materials of high quality standards and hires unskilled laborers from communities in which projects are undertaken so as to make community residents and citizens to feel and take ownership especially of public entities.
The Company was recently awarded as the Outstanding Construction Company of the year 2017/2018 in Liberia by a local pro-media group as displayed in the Photo below.

Caution: With these well-designed structures and facilities constructed and or renovated by the West Construction Company in Liberia, the USA and elsewhere, the public can judge for herself and decide to chose quality and commitment over reluctance and dishonesty and substandard projects in Liberia or does the right thing by choosing West Construction Liberia to do business with.
But our wish for both central government and those in the Private Sector as well as individuals is to do business with a Liberian-owned company as doing so will help promote the developmental drive and Pro-Poor Agenda of the government of Liberia. By doing so, the government and private sector of Liberia will help reduce the high unemployment rate in the country.
