A self-proclaimed gay says his life is in serious danger by family members and friends due to his decision to becoming a gay.

Gaye is the act of being sexually attracted to someone who is of the same sex (particularly a man in sexual intercourse with another man) or being a homosexual.

In an exclusive interview with this paper over the weekend in central Monrovia, Paul Smith (real name withheld) said his family and friends are no longer willing to set their eyes on him, thus, doing so would lead to his untimely death.

“My brother because I have decided to be a gay, my family members and some of my friends no longer want to see me. They have told me that whenever they set their eyes on me anywhere and anytime they will kill me, as I am speaking to you I am in hiding it was someone that gave me your number and this is why I am calling you from my hideout,” Smith (real name withheld) told our reporter via mobile conversation.

Smith (real name withheld) asserted that his both parents have disowned him all because according to him he had chosen to be a gay, something he said he so much enjoy.

Smith (real name withheld) who said he has bruises all over his body and face, alleged that he was beaten severely by some family members who also threatened to take away his life.

“It was only by the grace of God I escaped that day. They were about four guys, two were my blood brothers and the two were some family members,” he explained his ordeal.

Meanwhile, when contacted via mobile phone, some of those pointed out as family could not confirmed nor denied the allegation but hung up the phone in the ear of our reporter.
