Recipe For National Disaster

-Says RCBC’s Actg. Pastor Toe

The Acting Pastor of the Revival Christian Baptist Church (RCBC) Clergyman Gabriel N. Toe is reminding President George M .Weah that the negative complete change of his mind as opposed to the oath of office is a recipe to national disaster.

Acting Pastor Toe of the RCBC, located in Morris’ Farm, Paynesville behind Coca Cola Factory noted that Weah should also be mindful that the Word of God is nothing to toy with; and being cognizant of the clear reality that it was from the Holy Bible that his oath of office was sanctioned of which he ended by saying, “so help me God,” is not to be taken for granted or considered a high joke without a binding obligation and consequences.

He said President Weah is trekking on the path of dangerous dimension by allowing himself to be flattered by self-seeking individuals especially under the canopy of being religious godfather in the country whose vested interest is to glorify the leader, who without doubt, is not an angel.

According to the theme of his sermon: Man Of God, Do Not Be A Hypocrite deriving from the Books of 1st Timothy 2:1-4 and 1st Corinthians 10:24 is a stern caution to Bishop Isaac Winker and many others religious elements who are armed with the full armor of showering political platitude and reckless sentiment of leaders worship to be careful and desist because God is not mocked for rendering the sacred word of God to scorn as a means of appeasing leaders for whatever they can reap in return is equivalent to misleading the flood and exposing them to the wolves.

Acting Pastor Toe told Bishop who has been receiving heavy dose of criticisms and massive condemnations from several quarters of the society including the religious community due to his sad statement that whosoever will criticize President Weah will face the wrath of God, because he (Weah) is a God sent leader also informed the Bishop to look up to God and serve Him with all his heart, mind body and strength rather than looking up to leader in seeking his own interest and not the wellbeing of the people.

The RCBC Pastor vehemently opposes and rejects the utterance from Bishop Winker’s assertion that Weah must not be criticized for the wrong he does for to do so, is to confront God stressing that man of God should preach the truth without fear or favor and avoid twisting the word of God; and wherein the people are not being attended to, it is incumbent upon church leaders to tell the leader the truth and the existing reality in the country and color the fact to please the leader.

He pointed out that the Bishop and others walking on similar slippery slope to no to conform to the world rather be transformed from the world and seek the genuine interest of the people because to subscribe to Bishop Winker’s pathetic prophecy tantamount of engraving cancer on the skin of the Lord Jesus Christ.
