TOTAL Liberia is expected to send two Liberians to Egypt to watch the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 football finals.
The two Liberians who were selected as winners was as a result of a draw among three thousands plus customers who purchased not less than twenty United States dollars worth of pruducts from the company.
The two Liberians are Varney Freeman from the Du-Port road, Paynesville community and Gbebah Kaidi from the 12th street Sinkor area.
The draw was held at one of the TOTAL filling stations located at the Samuel K. Doe (SKD) Boulevard junction on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 and was also live on Sky 107 FM and Hott 107.9FM including the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) and Kreative Minds Television station (KMTV) Liberia.
According to TOTAL Liberia, Liberians and none Liberians became a part of the draw by buying US$20.00 worth of products, whether gas or fuel oil from any TOTAL filling station across the country.
For his part, the Managing Director of TOTAL Liberia, Peter Adegunle said it is the company own way of giving back to their customers yea the Liberian society and it is part of its cooperate social responsibility to the Liberian people.
“This is our way of giving back to our customers and its part of our cooperate social responsibility and you know that we are sponsor of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON). So, in order to pick among the Liberian people who to go and watch the final, we say come and buy products from certain amount so as to be part of a draw to select who to go and watch the final,” Mr. Adegunle said.
TOTAL Liberia is one of the proud sponsors of the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) currently taking place in Egypt and the company remains for the next two season of the tournament.
