The Liberia National Police (LNP) has charged and forwarded to court some alleged ‘hardcore criminals’ whom according to the police have been responsible for committing armed robbery in Monrovia and its environs.
Those alleged suspects include: Joe Morris alias (Borbor-Pain) along with his collaborators Musa Kamara (ladies milk/ blow), Leo Thomas, Papie Washington, and Surprise Welwolo (Surprise)
They were charged and sent to the Monrovia City Court for prosecution. They were charged with criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and murder which is a violation of chapter 10, 15, 14 sections 10.4, sub-chapter-C section 15.32 and section 14.1 of the revised penal code of the republic of Liberia based upon complaint filed against them by victim Kebbeh Forkpah and others.
It can be recalled some residents of district #8, Montserrado County, carried out a citizen-arrest on the alleged murderers of Wilson Forkpah, in the Sonniwein Community on Clay Street after he (Forkpah) was allegedly shot twice in the stomach on April 2, 2018 and later died after these armed robbers broke into their homes and took away four cellphones and L$4,000.
Forkpah died at the John F. Kennedy medical hospital while undergoing treatment as a result of the bullet wound sustained during the commission of the crime (armed robbery) at the victim residence on clay street, central Monrovia.
The police charged sheet mentioned that between March 24, 2018, to April 3, 2018, a group of unknown men armed with cutlasses, single barrel short guns, pistol and other deadly weapons forcibly entered the various homes of victims Kebbeh Forkpah and others and made away with their properties including cash.
That defendants Musa Kamara (ladies milk/ blow), Leo Thomas, Papie Washington, and Surprise Welwolo (Surprise) and Mohammed Kromah (rocket/pocket) value were arrested in connection to said crimes (armed robbery/murder).
The LNP charged sheet further revealed that during the arrest of defendants Musa Kamara (ladies milk/ blow), Joe Morris, surprise Welwolo, Papie Washington, Leo Thomas, and Joe Morris, one flat screen TV, one small laptop and one tecno phone were retrieved from them.
During police investigation, it was also established that suspect Welwolo, Washington, Thomas, Morris and others to be identified were armed with cutlasses, single barrel short guns, pistol and other deadly weapons, threatened to kill the victims, fire one round at which time victim Forkpah sustained bullet wounds and made away with properties including cash.
The charged sheet indicated that victim Wilson Forkpah who sustained bullet wound as a result of the shooting during the armed robbery that occurred on clay street, central Monrovia was pronounced dead while undergoing medical treatment at the John F. Kennedy Hospital by nurses who were on call.
Meanwhile, Joe Morris (Borbor-pain), Musa Kamara (Ladies Milk/ Blow), Leo Thomas (Leo Jabbateh), Papie Washington (Sharka), and Surprise Welwolo (Surprise) have been sent to the Monrovia central prison (south beach) by the court of first instance (Monrovia City Court) pending court trial.
